Some notes:
1) I have obtained access to the Pope County Quorum Court for Tuesday 1st, 2009 2:30 - 4pm for our oral arguments for the briefs. You should try and show up at the courthouse about 10 minutes before class if possible. Remember to be in formal attire (suits and ties for guys and appropriate formal wear for the ladies). The Pope County Court House is located on Main street in downtown Russellville: 100 west Main. If you need a ride over let me know and I'll try and make arrangements. I will be leaving from my office to go to the courthouse around 2:15pm on that Tuesday. 2) A draft of your brief is due in my box on Monday, November 30th by 12:00 (noon). This draft should have the bulk of the substantive arguments and positions you have taken in the case. It is NOT your final, graded draft, but turning one in is a component of your presentation grade. The final draft (for your written brief grade) is due in class (at the courtroom) on Tuesday. 3) The final will cover Chapters 1, 5, and 3 in your S&S ACL book (vol. 2). You are responsible for all the cases I covered in class. The format for the final is the same as that of the midterm. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving! D.GOOCH
